Sewing Machine & Overlocker Servicing

• What's included: clean and oil, tension calibration, timing check, feed dog inspection, and a full stitch test. Minor mechanical adjustments are covered; any parts that need replacing are always quoted and agreed with you first.
• Guide price: basic sewing machine service from £70. Overlockers and more involved repairs are quoted after a quick look at the machine.
• Turnaround: typically 5–10 working days, though this can run longer during busy periods — we'll give you an estimate when you drop off.
• What to bring: the machine itself, its foot pedal and power lead, and a note of anything you've noticed going wrong.

Expert sharpening using dual Twice-as-Sharp machines including the premier Ookami Gold system. We restore factory razor edges on dressmaking shears, pinking shears, embroidery scissors, and household scissors.

• Guide price: general purpose scissors from £10 per pair. Specialist shears (dressmaking, pinking, embroidery) quoted in-store.
• Turnaround: same-day or next working day, extending to 1–2 working days during busy periods.
• What to bring: scissors clean and dry — multiple pairs are welcome.
